We invite you to come see us at our North Raleigh shop to experience the nostalgic sights and sounds of the Old World today!
Contact UsIn a word – trust. Clock Wise is owned by Scott Sloan. You can trust him to give you honest answers, treat you fairly, and stand behind his work. Scott has owned and operated 2 clock shops in his 3 decades in the clock repair industry. The spark that started it all was a humble 1904 Seth Thomas mantel clock in need of repair that he inherited from his grandparents. His first shop, The Clock Works Again, ran from 1997 to 2005 in Carrboro, North Carolina. Clock Wise, his flagship store, opened in 2002 in North Raleigh. From Day 1 of owning his own business, Scott has maintained a philosophy of hands-on, daily shop operations and making all house calls.
Scott has lived in Raleigh since 1976, graduating from Millbrook High School in 1979. In 1984, he graduated with a degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University. His choice of universities was, no doubt, influenced by his uncle, Wolfpack basketball legend Norm Sloan. In 2016, his personal connections to the university were united with his profession when he was commissioned to repair the vintage Longines wall clock in Reynolds Coliseum as part of a major renovation project. With an investment in the local community that exceeds 40 years, you can trust Scott Sloan and Clock Wise to be there for your long-term clock needs.
